Prieš užbaigdami poilsį 2024 metais buvome nusprendę užsukti į restoraną “Po Liepom”, nes girdėjome, kad atsinaujino. Anksčiau restoranas yra turėjęs blogų atsiliepimų dėl nesiskaitymo su kai kuriais darbuotojais, todėl buvo įdomu pažiūrėti, kaip atsinaujinęs restoranas dirba ir gamina.
Aptarnavimas
Atvykus pasisveikinome, prisėdus atėjo panelė, gavome meniu. Kainos ganėtinai prieinamos, kol kas normaliausios, ką bandėme šią vasarą. Iš gėrimų užsisakėme giros, kavos ir vynuogių sulčių (pilstomų).
Laukti maisto reikėjo kiek ilgiau, apie 30 min., tačiau niekur neskubėjome.
Kokybė
Maisto kokybė yra pagerėjusi lyginant su anksčiau. Užsisakėme kiaulienos sprandinės šašlyką ir vištienos filė grietinėlės padaže. Įprastai vištienos filė būna su ryžiais, tačiau mes užsakėme su bulvėmis. Kiaulienos šašlyką užsakėme su ryžiais.
Šaškykas gerai iškepęs, skonis neblogas. Nesitikėjau, kad ryžiai bus taip lengvai valgomi – skonis puikiai derėjo prie šašlyko. Prie to buvo kelios skiltelės pomidorų ir agurkų (šviežių). Šašlyko reikėjo palaukti, nes buvo daromas šviežiai vietoje.
Vištiena irgi gerai padaryta, su bulvėmis buvo puikus derinys. Padažas nuo vištienos puikiai tiko bulvėms dabaigti.
Išvaizda, atmosfera
Atnaujintas grindinys vos įėjus į restoraną, taip pat atnaujintas baras. Nauji stalai, kėdės viduje ir vidiniame kieme. Ganėtinai jauku, bet mažokai erdvės. Mūsų apsilankymo metu žmonių beveik nebuvo, tai sėdėti buvo malonu, tačiau manau, kad sėdint žmonių apsuptyje gali būti kiek triukšminga.
Po Liepom Review
As the end to our great holidays was coming forth in 2024, we had decided to give a restaurant that has been in service for many years a visit. That is mostly due to the fact that we heard that they have refreshed their restaurant’s look and whatnot. The restaurant has received some backlash before due to not being thorough with their employees at one point, so we were curious how is the situation in terms of the food and work in general.
Customer Service
Upon arrival we greeted the working staff. After picking our place, the waitress presented us the menus. The prices are relatively affordable considering the surrounding restaurants, probably one of the best we’ve seen. For drinks we had kvass, coffee and grape juice.
We had to wait about 30 minutes for the food since it had to be freshly prepared and cooked, but we weren’t in a rush.
Quality
The food quality has improved. We ordered Kiaulienos sprandinės šašlykas (en. Pork neck barbeque or shashlik) and Vištienos filė grietinėlės padaže (en. Chicken fillet in cream sauce). Typically the fillet is served with rice, but we altered the order to it with potatoes instead. The barbecue was ordered with rice and fresh vegetable slices.
Šašlykas was cooked well, the taste was good. I didn’t expect the rice to go so well with it. We had to wait for a little while due to it being freshly grilled.
Chicken was well done and worked quite well with the potatoes. The sauce worked well for both the chicken and the potatoes, which is an extra plus.
Look and atmosphere
The bar and the floor were renewed, so as the tables and chairs. While it was comfy, it feels like there is a slick lack of space. It was nice during our visit as there were few people present, but I believe the noise can be an issue when in the presence of a large group of people.
